Before discussing reward distribution, I need to introduce a concept, namely staking.
On Taskon, generally, the project party will first stake the rewards to be distributed on Taskon.
The logo in the red box in the picture below indicates staking. When it comes to quest tasks, the project party also follows the same procedure.
They stake the corresponding rewards for quest tasks on Taskon before the quests start.
This ensures that once users complete the quest tasks successfully and meet all the predefined criteria, the staked rewards can be smoothly distributed to them.
If it is a quest task and the project party has staked the reward on Taskon, which is indicated by the logo shown in the figure below, then the reward will definitely be distributed.
If it is a community task, you need to check whether the project team has indicated the availability of rewards in the community announcements. If not, you should visit the project team's Telegram and Discord channels to check for specific information and make inquiries.
Project parties that have made announcements:
this project had announced “Points earned on TaskOn will be converted to Platform points upon launch, and users will be eligible to participate in the $DPARK airdrop set for Q1 2025.”
If you see similar text in the onboarding section, you can be certain that for tasks within the community, you'll be eligible for rewards when the project team conducts an airdrop in the future. Otherwise, you may not receive any rewards.
However, you still need to further explore the project's situation in the project party's Telegram and Discord communities, and ask the project party for details.
When the quest involves a PoW (Proof of Work) task, you are required to follow the instructions to complete the task and provide proof of completion (URL and/or Image). The project creator will review the PoW when choosing winners.
After completing the task as instructed, return to the activity page, input the URL
or image
, and click on "Submit
".
If a Quest contains a Proof of Work (POW), the longest period to claim the rewards is within 7 days after the Quest ends. The project team will handle the review of the POW in the TaskOn backend.
For example, if the Quest ends on February 14th, the project team will announce the results no later than February 21st.
If the time limit has passed and you haven't received your rewards yet, or if the project team hasn't reviewed your Proof - of - Work (POW) tasks, you have two options:
Go to the project's Telegram group to seek advice.
