This Privacy Policy, together with other documents we put on our Websites governs our collection, processing and use of your personal information (the “Platform Agreement”).
This Privacy Policy applies to all the Services we provide on or any other websites, pages, features, or content we own or operate or when you use our mobile applications (if any) or API interface (collectively, the “Services”).
You should be aware that you are not obligated to provide any of your personal information to the TaskOn. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy and other Platform Agreement we put on our Websites, please do not access or use the Services, or any other aspects of our business. You understand and agree that any access or use of the Servicesor any other aspect of our business shall be deemed your consent and acceptance on the Privacy Policy and other Platform Agreement.
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you that:
1. The kinds of personal information we may collect about you and how it is used;
2. We use information about IP addresses and our use of cookies;
3. How your personal information is disclosed to third parties;
4. You have the ability to access, correct, update and delete your personal information;
5. We have taken security measures toprevent the loss, misuse or tampering of personal information under our control.
When you interact with our Services or any other aspect of our business, we may collect portion or all the below information:
• Identification and Contact Information: such as your name, e-mail, phone number and shipping address.
• Wallet Information: such as cryptocurrency wallet IDs you provide to us when you buy, store, and transfer cryptocurrency assets or NFTs.
• Social Media Information: We maintain a social media presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter ("Social Media Pages"). When you interact with us on social media, we may receive personal information that you provide or make available to us based on your settings, such as your contact details. In addition, the companies that host our Social Media Pages may provide us with aggregate information and analytics regarding the use of our Social Media Pages. We may also receive information from social media platforms if you link your social media accounts with your TaskOn account. The type of information we receive depends on your settings with the relevant platform but may include things like your handle and followers list.
• Community Information: such as information relating to your participation in the TaskOn community, including the events you attend and any information you share through our Discord community platform.
When you visit, use, and interact with the Services, the following information may be created and automatically logged in our systems:
• Device Information: The manufacturer and model, operating system, IP address, and unique identifiers of the device, as well as the browser you use to access the Service. The information we collect may vary based on your device type and settings.
• Usage Information: Information about how you use our Service, such as the types of content that you view or engage with, the features you use, the actions you take, and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities.
• Email Open/Click Information: We may collect your email and IP address as well as the date and time you open an email or click on any links in the email.
Information We Get from Others, including information about you from other sources as required or permitted by applicable law, including third parties such as identity verification services, and public databases. We may combine the information collected from these sources with the information we get from our Websites and Platforms to verify your identity, comply with our legal obligations, and ensure our Services are not used fraudulently or for other illicit activities.
We may also collect personal information about you through recordings of telephone conversations between us and you (or your representatives) and through publicly available registration forms.

• Operate our wallet authentication tool, Vulcan, when you use it to verify your identity on Discord;

• Administer purchases of the TaskOn Collector Pass NFT; provide perks; and organize events;
• Personalize your experiences;
• Send you updates about administrative matters such as changes to our terms or policies;
• Provide user support, and respond to your requests, questions, and feedback.
Service Improvement. It is in our legitimate business interests to engage in research and development, including to:
• improve the Service and create new features;
• create and derive insights from de-identified and aggregated information.
Marketing and Advertising. Subject to consent where required, we and our advertising partners may use your personal information for marketing and advertising purposes, including to send you direct marketing communications as permitted by law, including, but not limited to, notifying you of special promotions, offers and events by email and other means.
Compliance and Protection, including to:
• Comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities;
• Protect our, your or others' rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal claims);
• Audit our compliance with legal and contractual requirements and internal policies; and prevent, identify, investigate, and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical, or illegal activity, including cyberattacks and identity theft.
Our Sharing: We may share the categories of personal information described above without further notice to you, unless required by the law, with the following categories of third parties:
• Service Providers: To assist us in meeting business operations needs and to perform certain services and functions, we may share personal information with service providers, including hosting services, cloud services, and other information technology services, email communication software and email newsletter services, advertising and marketing services, payment processors, customer relationship management and customer support services, and analytics services. Pursuant to our instructions and applicable laws, these parties will access, process, or store personal information while performing their duties to us.
• Professional Advisors: We may share personal information with our professional advisors such as lawyers and accountants where doing so is necessary to facilitate the services they render to us.
• Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, dissolution, sale of all or a portion of our assets, or transition of service to another provider (collectively a "Transaction"), your personal information may be shared in the diligence process with counterparties and others assisting with the Transaction and transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of or following that Transaction along with other assets.
• Legal Requirements: We do not volunteer your personal information to government authorities or regulators, but we may disclose your personal information where required to do so for the Compliance and Protection purposes described above.
Your Sharing: Through the Service, you may be able to make your personal information available to others, including:
• Other users and the public, when you post content on TaskOn, the Discord community platform and engage in public transactions through the Service; and
• Social media platforms when you choose to share content on social media.
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure, including implementing appropriate security measures. Existing security measures will be reviewed from time to time considering legal and technological developments. However, we do not guarantee that such misuse, loss, unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure will not occur.
When registering for our Services, choose a complex password, never share your account credentials with third parties and submit help request to us if you become aware of unauthorized access to or use of your account. You are responsible for all activities on the account that is associated with your login credentials.
We will only retain your personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and our own legal and regulatory requirements. Generally, personal information associated with your account possibly will be kept for five years after your account is closed. Likewise, we generally retain information about your account transactions for a period of five years from the date of the transaction. However, we do not any promises on the time of retention, and it probably be changed for any reason in our sole discretion. Personal information will be collected for other purposes in accordance with our policies established from time to time.
Our Websites and Platforms may contain links to other websites and resources provided by third parties. This PrivacyPolicy applies only to our website. Access to these third-party websites or sources requires you to leave our website and we have no control over these third-party websites, or any content contained therein, so you agree that we are not responsible or liable for any third-party websites, including but not limited to their content, policies, failures, promotions, products, services or conduct and/or their any damages, losses, failures or problems related to or arising out of these websites. Our policies, content, information, promotions, disclosures, disclaimers, and features may be modified, updated and/or supplemented at any time without prior notice and at the sole discretion of the TaskOn. If we change the Privacy Policy, we may take steps to notify all users through a notice on our website and may post the revised PrivacyPolicy on the Websites or Platforms.

Depending on the nature of your request, there may be a minimal fee for accessing your personal information.
