# Set Community Private

If you prefer your community to be a closed ecosystem, which means that it is not exposed on any community discovery pages and only those who know the `community link` can visit and join, you can set your community to be `private` through the settings.

1. Enter "Community Settings" page, and click "`Make Community Private`".
2. Click "`Save`".

Now, your community is private; if you want to invite others to visit/join your community, you'll need to share the `community link` with them.&#x20;

Click the highlighted icon and copy the link, or you can share your community on X/Telegram.
